Touraine Moss was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 31, 1971, and passed away in San Diego, California, on February 7, 2026. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate at HSL-49, working as an aircraft mechanic on SH 60B Sikorsky helicopters. Touraine dedicated his skills and discipline to the safety and success of others, always putting service before self. Beyond his military service, Touraine continued to touch lives in new ways. As the lead manufacturer of Moss Grills, he brought joy to thousands of Americans across the nation with his craftsmanship skills. He also was a truck driver for Swift LTL. He was a man of family, friendship, and deep compassion, always willing to help anyone in need. To include saving a young man's life after the kid's leg was amputated from a train accident, he was awarded a citizenship award from the Mayor of St. Louis, Missouri. Touraine’s dedication and service to his country, his community, and his family will never be forgotten.
