A Heartfelt Goodbye to Top, Mrs. Brenda’s Heart Horse

This is one of the hardest messages I’ve ever had to write. This morning, we experienced a heartbreaking loss—Mrs. Brenda’s beloved heart horse, Top, passed away.

Top wasn’t just a horse. He was her partner, her teacher, and the inspiration behind the barn that has brought so much joy to both kids and adults. He taught her about love, the joy of riding, and the power of connection. Together, they earned countless ribbons in the arena, but more importantly, he was the horse who took care of everyone. Every horse at the barn knew he was the leader—gentle, wise, and strong.

We’re raising funds to help have Top cremated so that he can always remain close to Mrs. Brenda, just as he was in life. We know he’s in a better place now, and we like to imagine her dad riding alongside him with a big smile.
