Honoring Tony Vargas – Supporting His Family in Their Time of Need

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Tony Vargas, who lost his courageous battle with cancer on October 20, 2025.

Tony was more than just an employee at Boar’s Head, he was truly a part of the Boar’s Head family. Over the years, he touched the lives of countless purveyors, coworkers, and friends with his dedication, warmth, and unwavering support. Whether you worked alongside him for years or met him briefly, you felt his genuine kindness and generosity.

In honor of Tony’s legacy and the impact he had on our community, we’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of the local purveyor community to support the people he loved most- his wife, Jashira, and their three children: Alyssa, Faith, and Anthony.

This fund will go directly to his family to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.

Tony gave so much of himself to all of us. Now it’s our turn to give back.
