Honoring Tom's Heart of Gold

Hello Everyone!

My name is Lacee Bowersox. I am trying to raise funds to have a proper service for my grandpa Tom!

Tom had debilitating epilepsy and was on disability so his funds were very limited on funeral arrangements and life insurance.

He only had enough for a simple

cremation but, so many people have came up to us asking when a formal service would be so they could properly say goodbye.

Tom was such an amazing man and he had a heart of gold. Unfortunately, his big heart is what lead to his untimely death. In the last few years he tragically lost both of his daughters and his nephew resulting in stress and grief which his heart couldn't handle.

However, he masked it well. You wouldn't know it if you saw him in passing. He always had a smile and would offer anyone help.

I've watched him my whole life and that's what he did. He was his communities "I can do that" man. If you needed your lawn mowed, snow shoveled, car worked on or even a house built. Tom would would be like "Yeah, I can do that".

He's helped out so many over the years that there has been an outpouring of people wanting to show their respect and day good bye.

If you could donate and help my Mamaw Alice, Garylee and his brothers give a proper funeral instead of a simple creation that would mean the world to us and everyone he has touched and mentored.

However, we know it's the holiday season and if you can't, just simply share this post. ALSO, post a wonderful memory you have with Tom so our family and friends can read and reminisc to keep him in our hearts and his memory alive!
