Honoring Tommy: Support for the Scolaro Family

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord

2 Corinthians 5:8

"It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden, unexpected, and devastating loss of my beautiful brother, Tommy Scolaro - My Protector, My Hero.

He was only 37 years old when he died peacefully in his sleep next to his dog Palomine. Tommy was looking forward to so much. He left this world on a high note and was never happier with the way his life was going. That’s what makes this all so damn hard. His unexpected passing has left an unfillable void in all of our lives and we are still struggling to process the reality that he is no longer with us.

We are hopeful in setting up this fundraiser to help us through this unforeseen tragedy. We are grateful for all of you who have reached out and shared your beautiful stories about Tommy. We never imagined that he had touched and impacted so many lives!

It brings our family a strong sense of comfort in knowing that he loved everyone he knew and that he was loved just as much in return. Thank you all for being part of my brother’s life and reciprocating his love and giving it right back to him.

I am confident in knowing that my brother’s growing faith in Christ is the reason why I am somehow finding peace during the absolute worst experience of my life. I know where my brother is and for that, I am forever thankful.

Thank you so much for loving my brother and supporting us through this incredibly difficult time. Please continue to share your memories with us as it helps our family to cope with the magnitude of this pain.
