With broken hearts, we share the passing of our uncle, Tom Minzenberger. Tom was a father first and foremost, and his sudden death has left his children and our cousins, Gretchen and Will, facing a loss no one is ever prepared for.

In the midst of their grief, they are also having to navigate unexpected financial responsibilities as young adults. Tom did not have a will in place, and the costs associated with funeral arrangements and other immediate expenses have added an overwhelming burden during an already painful time.

In addition, Tom leaves behind his beloved dog, Leo, who was very important to him. Leo is now experiencing medical issues that require ongoing veterinary care. The resulting vet bills have added another unforeseen financial burden as Gretchen and Will work to make sure their father’s dog is cared for and healthy.

We created this GoFundMe to support Gretchen and Will as they lay their father to rest and begin the difficult process of moving forward without him. Every donation will go directly toward funeral expenses and unforeseen costs, helping to relieve some of the stress so they can focus on healing and honoring their dad’s life.
