My grandfather, who passed away on October 13, 2024, leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Alma Muñoz, along with his six children - Miguel, Teresa, Victor, Gildardo (Gil), Ana, Heriberto (Eddie), grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Just two weeks before his passing, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, yet he remained his goofy self, filling our days with laughter and warmth, even at the late age of 92. His spirit was youthful and vibrant, even as his body began to fail him. Until the very end, he remained the same jokester/dancing machine that we all knew and adored.

We will hold a memorial for him in Covina, CA, where family and friends can come together to celebrate his life. Following that, we will have a tree burial in Ensenada with his ashes, a place that held special memories for him. It feels fitting to honor his life in a place he loved and where he grew up, surrounded by the beauty he appreciated so much.
