From the Timmers Family:
On Sunday, April 12th, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Tina, Ehren, Grant, Gavin, and Patrick were involved in a serious car accident. Despite every effort to save her, Tina passed away at the scene. She is deeply loved, and her absence leaves a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Ehren, Grant, Gavin, and Patrick were transported to the hospital in St. Cloud, where they are receiving care.
- Patrick sustained injuries from the seatbelt and airbag — a broken sternum, broken ribs, and significant lacerations on his arms. He's in good spirits and, in true Patrick fashion, already winning over the nursing staff. The family is currently working to get him placed in a rehab facility.
- Ehren has a broken hip which is currently being operated on. He also has a bone chip in his neck causing pain and swelling, and lacerations in his face and body.
- Grant (19) is in critical condition and has been sedated since admission. After two emergency surgeries for internal bleeding, he was airlifted late Monday night from St. Cloud to the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities, where he is awaiting another exploratory surgery with more surgeries to come. His fiancé, Paige, and her family are by his side and family members are taking turns to be with him as well. His recovery will be long, but he is fighting hard.
- Gavin (16) walked away without physical injuries, but he is carrying the weight of this trauma deeply. Please hold him gently in your thoughts.
The family is in the early stages of making funeral arrangements for Tina and will share details as they are known.
If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider supporting with a meal train and keep this family in your thoughts.
