Timothy Costa Sr. was a man deeply loved by so many, and his passing on March 29, 2026, has left a hole in all of our hearts.
He leaves behind three children and many beautiful grandchildren who loved him beyond words. He carried many names in this life — “Tim” to his neighbors, “Fat Cat” to his friends, “Papa” to his grandchildren, and most importantly, “Dad” to my mother and aunt. Every name reflected a different piece of the love he gave so freely.
He was the kind of man you don’t come across often. He always had a smile on his face, always cracking jokes, always finding a way to make people laugh even on the hardest days. And no matter what, he never missed a chance to remind us that he loved us.
He was a true friend and neighbor — the one who quietly took out and returned trash cans on garbage days, who made sure the neighborhood cats were fed, and who always checked in to make sure his people were okay. He welcomed everyone with open arms and made you feel like family the moment you met him.
He was a blessing to all who knew him, and his kindness and warmth will never be forgotten.
My family and I would like to give him the memorial he truly deserves. Anything is appreciated, even just a like or share.
Rest in peace, Papa. We love you.
