Theresa Kay Mikesell passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with Kidney Failure on May 22, 2026. Theresa was a beautiful and loving wife to Kent Mikesell for over 30 years. She was the mother of Katlin Mikesell and Shyanne Young. She loved her children and grandchildren so much. She enjoyed every moment with her family. Theresa was a CNA for over 30 years. She loved taking care of the elderly and had deep connections with her patients and their families. She loved her work family so much. The friendships she built were life long. When she fell ill it hurt her that she was the one being taken care of and longed so much to get better. Theresa didn't want her family and friends to see her sick. She wanted people to know and remember her as they had seen her last. She was a vibrant and remarkable woman who deeply loved everyone she ever encountered. Her love will continue through her children and grandbabies. Each of them left a handprint on her heart. All of this was sudden. Our family is doing the best to meet Mom's last wishes. If there is anyone who can help with the cost of her funeral expenses it would be incredibly appreciated.
