Maggie Lenn Kari was born September 13, 1964. From that day, she lived a life that was full of character, love, and unforgettable memories. When she faced adversities, she met them head on with passion and vigor. Those challenges did not stand a chance against her determination and devotion to her children and dearest. Living life to the fullest was an understatement for Maggie. She rocked out to her 80's rock music in her later years as much as she did in her teenage years. Halloween brought out a quirky side that filled everyone with the spooky spirit. And if you ever told her you were hungry, she would immediately make you the most delicious food you have ever tasted. But as much as she enjoyed being in the center of all the fun, she equally savored just being in the presence of her loved ones on their important days.
Maggie's bubbly personality and notable laugh was enough to put a smile on anyone's face. Children were her bread and butter. They enjoyed being around Maggie as much as she enjoyed them. She had a special connection with children and they all loved their "May May" so much. She knew how to dazzle her way into your life and leave a marvelous impression. Her best friends kids and the friends of her children all came to know her as their "mom." But most importantly, her children were her pride and joy! Every time she talked about them or was around them, she beamed with so much delight and happiness.
Maggie's faith was also very important to her and she recently expressed her desires to be baptized. Her children made sure that her dream came true and she was baptized the day before her soul entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Maggie left this Earth on June 21, 2021 to join our Heavenly Father. While her departure has left a somber wake in her absence, we find solace in knowing that she is no longer in pain and is dancing with Jesus. The future holds weddings, birth of (grand)children, and various significant events and we will make sure to leave a seat for Maggie to join us at every event.
"Dearest Jesus, the one who wept at the death of your friend and taught us that they who mourn shall be comforted, grant us the comfort of your presence in our loss. We humbly ask that the memory of our loved one lives on in our hearts, our minds, and through our actions and words. We know you hold time within your hands and have seen it all, from the very beginning to the end. Revelation 21:4 (ESV) is a fervent reminder of what is waiting for us beyond the grave: 'He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed.' In your hands, O Lord, we entrust you with Maggie. In this life you enveloped her with your tender love. We ask you, Lord, to please deliver her now from every evil and offer her eternal rest. We take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain, but in Heaven, rejoicing, and filled with joy and peace. Thank you Lord for allowing us to relish in the amazing presence of Maggie's. Until we see her again... In Jesus' name, Amen."
