Honoring Our Tranquil Light - Pamela James

It is with sadness that the James family unexpectedly lost Pamela James, on Wednesday, March 3rd.  She passed away after a brief illness. The hearts of all who knew Pam are heavy and still in utter disbelief that she’s no longer walking among us.

Pam shared herself with so many people and was the person who would show up for you (with a smile and sometimes - even a poem) when you least expected.  She loved in full and enormous spirit.  Whether you knew Pam as your family, your friend, your colleague, or through her service at church, you knew you were in the presence of a shining light and you wanted to be around it. 


The family painfully has the unexpected task of preparing for a funeral that we did not expect to plan. We have started this fund to assist with funeral and memorial expenses. Thank you so much for your help and support. 


We believe Pam would have these words hanging somewhere around her so that when we passed by, we would be inspired by it like she would be: 

           “To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue” - Buddha   


Pam shared her light of wisdom with so many of us and we only hope that we can celebrate her life within that spirit.
