Honoring the Memory of Wilson D. Ortiz

Son, brother, father. Loving, sweet, kind. These are just a few words that describe the beautiful soul of our Chongo.  He had a way of looking at the world that was contagious and admirable. Wilson had many loves, including his family, his job, and his daughters. He strived to make his parents proud, be a loving brother to his sisters, and be the best father for his daughters. He made you laugh on your hardest day, and he couldn't help but make you smile. He was silly, playful and fun. He was a skilled ironworker and loved to create and work with his hands. Throughout his time on this earth, he touched so many lives by simply being himself. He would just as easily give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  The Lord has called him home this past Monday. Unfortunately, we were not prepared to lose our Chongo, and even less prepared for the costs of his funeral. We humbly ask for your help laying him to rest. We are currently in the process of finalizing the funeral arrangements that will take place in the coming days. Any donations will be appreciated and will help provide Chongo with the ceremony he deserves.
