Kyleigh Fils was a beloved 7th Grade student at Explore Upper Charter School. Unfortunately, she quickly fell ill and passed away on Mon. February 5th. Her passing has profoundly impacted our school community.

Kyleigh was a vibrant and cherished member of our school family. Her warm spirit, kindness, and enthusiasm left an indelible mark on the hearts of students and staff alike. Kyleigh was a driven student who pushed herself and those around her to excellence. The news of her passing has sent shockwaves through our close-knit community, and we are grappling with the profound sadness that accompanies the loss of such a bright and promising individual.

We will be organizing a celebration of Kyleigh to give our school community an opportunity to come together and remember the immense impact she had on each of us. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the Fils family to help cover expenses from the hospital bills and funeral arrangments.
