On Sunday, August 16, an unimaginable tragedy changed one family's life forever.

Vanessa and her daughters, Kloie and Kylie, were traveling home from Fresno after attending a concert together to celebrate Kloie's upcoming 17th birthday on August 20. On their way home, their vehicle was struck head-on by a car traveling the wrong direction at a high rate of speed on Highway 99.

Vanessa, Kloie, and Kylie tragically lost their lives.

What should have been a weekend filled with memories and a celebration of Kloie turning 17 has instead left a family trying to comprehend the loss of a mother and her two daughters all at once.

Vanessa also leaves behind her son, and Kloie and Kylie leave behind their brother, who will turn 16 on August 20—the very same day his sister Kloie would have turned 17.

There are simply no words for the magnitude of this loss or for what this family is facing in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
