On November 12, 2025, our beloved wife and mother Susan Kay Contreras of Banning, CA, passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was just two weeks shy of her 68th birthday, born on November 26, 1957.

Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose heart was always open to others. She had a remarkable way of making people feel cared for, welcomed, and understood. Whether you knew her for a moment or a lifetime, her warmth left a lasting impression.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Ruben, her children Christina Moore (Tim Moore), Michael Contreras (Sheree Harsany), and Vanessa Coronado (Anthony Coronado), and her grandchildren Christopher Moore, Shane Moore, Tyler Contreras, Zoey Contreras, Joe Coronado, and Leah Coronado, her sister Lynda Brusven her brother Roger Naillon (Tina Naillon). She is preceded in death by her parents LuAnn and Van Naillon.

Her passing has left a profound void in our family. And while we are grateful that she is now at peace, her loss came far too soon and with little time to prepare. As we work through this heartbreak, we are asking for support to help cover the burial and memorial expenses so we can honor Susan in the dignified and loving way she deserves.
