Honoring the Life of Sabrina Moreland

On January 20th at 4:00 pm, the world lost a remarkable human being but the heavens gained an angel.

Sabrina Moreland meant so much to so many people, but for us, she was an integral part of our class identity. She was the embodiment of unconditional love and approached all of us with the same smile (and dimples), open arms, big heart, and contagious laugh, that she would her own family. Sabrina would often mention that being a part of our graduating class was one of the greatest joys of her life.

While her feelings toward us may come as no surprise, losing her was. All of us have been greatly affected by Sabrina's passing and your emails, text messages, and thoughts have been so dear and our desire to make donations in honor of her life has meant a lot, especially to those closest to her. After much consideration and discussion with her family and friends, here's how we can best remember and honor Sabrina.

All donations will go to Sabrina's son Keyshawn Chambers, which is without doubt what she would want. Additionally, we will be setting aside a portion of the funds to donate and dedicate a bench in the town of Roslyn in the name of Sabrina Moreland. The hope is that it can be a place where we will visit to feel close to her, each other, and the unconditional love she had for us all.
