Hi everyone,

My name is Alaiyzhia, and my family and I are reaching out during one of the hardest times of our lives.

My grandad, Robert Jones, who battled dementia, kidney failure, and other health issues. For the last two years, our family has been caring for him full-time with love, patience, and dedication.

Recently, he went missing and was gone for six long days. Despite our desperate search day and night since his disappearance, with very little response from the assigned detective on this case, we were just notified that he was found in a field — he had been trying to find his way home. Our hearts are completely shattered by this devastating and unexpected loss.

We are now preparing to lay him to rest and give him the peaceful farewell he deserves. He’s originally from Michigan, and we’ll be traveling home for his service and burial.
