Help support funeral costs for our mother, Bridgette Lacey

On Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2026, the lives of my two brothers and me changed forever. Our mother, Bridgette Lacey, suddenly passed away. A day that was supposed to be about love was instead the day our hearts were shattered.

Our mom was a truly special person. She lived an incredibly hard life and still managed to be a single mom raising three boys, making sure we felt every ounce of love she had to give. We didn't have much, but we had her. For those of you that don't know, my little brother Brandon has Autism. When he was first born, my mom had no clue how to raise a special needs child. Honestly, I had no clue how she was going to do it... yet all it took was her to look in his eyes the first time she ever held him, and I knew they both were going to be okay. The love she felt for him would be the glue that would allow her to overcome any challenges that would come their way. I was right. Her love for her children was fierce, and the absence of that has left a cold and empty feeling. Bridgette was the type of person that made you feel warm, welcome, and loved. She would suffer in silence as long as it meant the people she loved would thrive.

Unfortunately, the cost of everything that comes with her passing, from cremation and memorial costs to transportation to get her ashes back to Texas, has been a financial burden that we just don't have the means of handling on our own. On top of that, now my little brother's only parent is gone. So we are asking for your help.

If you're able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to us and will go directly toward cremation arrangements and all related costs. And if you aren't able to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser; sharing helps more than people realize.

Thank you to all of you for being there for our family during the hardest moment of our lives. Your support, prayers, and kindness mean more to us than words could ever describe.

I love you so much, Mom. I miss you already.
