In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Grandma, Kathryn Trevino
Written on behalf of the Trevino family by her granddaughter, Adriana.
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, bestfriend, a friend to so so many, Kathryn (Kathy) Trevino, a beautiful soul who left this world far too soon. While we grieve this unimaginable loss, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the countless hearts she touched.
Grandma Kathy was more than just my grandmother, she was our HERO, our rock, and the light of our family. Her smile could brighten even the darkest days, and her soft, loving hands held generations of our family together with care and comfort. Her hugs were filled with warmth and love ..the kind you never forget.
Her heart was made of pure gold, and her love for her family knew no limits. We were her world, and she lit up ours in return. She found joy in the little things: dancing around the house, cooking our favorite meals, decorating for every season with her incredible sense of style, and creating a home that felt like a warm embrace to everyone who walked through the door. Her eye for beauty and detail amazed us all.. everything she touched turned into love and light.
My Grandma Kathy had music in her soul. She adored Smokey Robinson, The Beach Boys, and truly any song that made her want to dance.. and dance she did, often in the kitchen while dinner simmered and laughter filled the air. Music was always playing in her home, and so was love.
Her beautiful blue eyes carried a lifetime of love, strength, and wisdom. She had a spirit that uplifted everyone around her. And even though she is no longer physically with us, her love will live on in our hearts forever.
She shared a once-in-a-lifetime love with her soulmate, our Papa Lupe. They walked through life hand in hand as best friends and partners, building a love story that has inspired all of us. In this time of deep pain, we are also rallying around our grandfather, who shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unbreakable devotion with her. Their bond is something sacred, and we will continue to honor that love in every way we can.
As we try to find peace in this painful moment, we are also facing the unexpected burden of funeral costs. We kindly ask for any contributions to help our family give Grandma Kathy the loving, beautiful farewell she truly deserves. Every donation, no matter the size, will mean more than words can express.
If you knew our grandma and have a special story, photo, or memory you’d like to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Hearing her name spoken and remembering her beautiful life brings comfort during this incredibly difficult time. My phone number will be at the end of this message.
Thank you for your love, support, and prayers for our family. We will never forget her.. her smile, her music, her love, and everything that made her the heart of our lives.
Heaven has gained a beautiful soul, a blue-eyed angel whose light will never fade.
I love you my sweet Grandma.
With all our love,
Adriana, on behalf of the Trevino Family
