It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Melissa. She was a compassionate nurse, a woman of deep faith, and a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Melissa had a beautiful spirit, a kind heart, and a way of making others feel supported and loved.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Melissa passed away surrounded by the love of those closest to her. Throughout her life and even during her illness, she continued to inspire others with her strength, her faith, and her gentle encouragement to trust God and keep moving forward.

Melissa was incredibly proud to be a nurse and dedicated her life to caring for others. She was also full of life — she loved getting dressed up, running 5Ks, spending time with family and friends, and sharing laughter with the people she loved most.

Before creating this fundraiser, many friends, family members, and loved ones reached out asking how they could support Melissa’s family and where they could send donations. Because of that outpouring of love and generosity, we decided to create this page to allow those who wish to help honor Melissa’s life and support her family during this difficult time.

Funds raised will go toward funeral and burial expenses, memorial arrangements, and supporting the family as they navigate this incredibly difficult loss.
