After a long three years, my father lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 4th.
We often talk about how people died, but I want to talk about how my father lived, and he truly lived. My father was the life of every party. His light shone in every room, often through his amazing singing and dancing. He loved to be at the center of everything and definitely as the center of attention, and it wasn’t hard for him: he was hilarious with more charisma in his pinky alone than most people around us. He was stubborn, but charismatic, so you couldn’t be mad at him for more than five minutes. He had a flair for the elegant, extravagant, and stylish and he never went anywhere without his flashy sunglasses.
He was a loving father, brother, grandpa, uncle, and always your friend. He loved passionately and fully, and he loved all of us.
It is hard for me to even ask for help from you all, but my family is seeking help to cover the funeral costs to honor my father’s wish to celebrate his life. For those of you that may be able and willing to consider donating towards my father’s funeral costs, please know that any amount helps in realizing his vision for his goodbye to this world.
Celebrate life. Cherish the memories.
In Deep Appreciation and Thanks,
