It’s with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Luther “Tare” Anderson — a loving father, son, and brother.

Tare was a proud Desert Storm U.S. Army veteran and served his country with honor and courage. He was known for his big heart, his love of the outdoors, and his devotion to his family. He found joy in fishing, hunting, cheering on the Refugio Bobcats, and spending time with his children — the moments that truly mattered most to him.

His passing came suddenly after he became septic and went into cardiac shock on October 3, 2025, leaving his family heartbroken and unprepared for the expenses that follow such a loss.
