Angel Luis Lopez was born on July 22, 1943, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. To those who knew him, he was simply Luis—and if you were lucky enough to be close to him, you knew him as Bobby.

Luis was a hardworking, God-fearing man who devoted his life to his family. He was the proud father of nine children, a loving grandfather to more than 30 grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandfather to over 20 great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to him, and he was always there when someone needed help, guidance, or simply his presence.

A skilled mechanic by trade, Luis loved working on cars and sharing what he knew. Any grandchild who wanted to learn about cars went straight to him. Many of us grew up visiting him at the shop, watching him work, listening to his stories, or hearing him sing while fixing an engine. Music brought him joy, and his singing filled both his home and workplace with warmth.

Luis was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His love, faith, and dedication shaped generations of our family. This afternoon, our beloved Luis passed away, leaving a deep void in our hearts.
