Honoring the Life of Lekeya Dunlap

Our hearts are shattered as we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Lekeya “ Keya “ Dunlap - a beloved mother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece & friend, and the brightest light in every room she entered. Keya leaves behind her beautiful daughter, Stori, who was the center of her world and the reason behind every smile, every sacrifice, and every dream she chased.

Keya had a way of making life feel lighter. She was effortlessly funny — the kind of funny that made your stomach hurt and your eyes water. Her laugh was contagious, her presence unforgettable, and her spirit so full of warmth that people naturally gravitated toward her. Everyone loved Keya. You couldn’t help it. She had that rare mix of humor, kindness, and authenticity that made you feel seen and welcomed.

Losing her so suddenly has left our family devastated and unprepared. As we navigate this painful moment, we want to give Keya the beautiful, dignified farewell she deserves and ensure that Stori is supported during this unimaginable time.
