Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of our Joshua David Williams (aka Seize)

Josh was such a part of our lives - our foundation, our memories, and our history. Our tribe just got smaller, quieter, and forever changed.

He played so many roles in our hearts that can’t be replaced. He was a father, a big brother, a cousin, a nephew, an uncle, a grandfather, a friend to so many - and a dog dad to Gunner. He was also a son, and his mom, Michelle, was there for him through every season of his life. Their bond was its own kind of love. His children - Domenico, Cecilia, and Ellie - were a part of his soul. His daughter said recently, “he changed my life forever” That’s the gift he gave all of us - pieces of himself that will stay with us always. He meant something different to each of us, but to all of us he mattered - deeply.

Josh was real and loyal - full of heart, light, and love. He is too young to be gone and losing him has shattered us. He wanted love, he gave love, and he made sure we knew we were loved. And if you needed him, he came. He was selfless with his time, his hands, his heart, and was always ready to help.

Josh was creative and expressive - he loved music, writing, and drawing. Music wasn’t just something he enjoyed; it was a part of who he was. It lived in him. You can hear his spirit in the music he wrote and sang over the years. He had grit and he had heart. He was also incredibly skilled with his hands - a builder in every sense. He could fix, make, or figure out almost anything. In his hands, he held the gift of creating. It came naturally to him, and creating through his music and with his hands was where he felt most like himself. And he dreamed big. His Gramere always called him “the dreamer grandchild,” and she saw him clearly - someone who held onto hope, who imagined more for himself, and who believed he was capable of anything.

As we move through this loss, our family is coming together to give him the service he deserves - one filled with love, stories, music, and peace. If you’re able to donate, any amount will help us cover the funeral expenses during this heartbreaking time, so we can be with him as we celebrate his life and send him off to be reunited with Ryan, Gramere, Sassy, and his grandparents - wrapped in the same love that held him when he was young. Your support, your prayers, and your kindness mean more than we can ever express.

Thank you for loving Josh (Seiz) with us.
And Josh - thank you for loving all of us so much.

You will be forever missed.
Forever remembered.
Forever celebrated.

With all our love,

Joshua’s Family
