It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Jose “Pepe” Casillas, who left us suddenly after suffering a heart attack. Pepe had been bravely living with Alzheimer’s disease, a journey that brought many challenges but never took away who he was at his core—a loving, generous, and deeply devoted family man.

Pepe was a husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Above all, he was someone who gave endlessly of himself. He showed his love through his actions—always present, always caring, always putting family first. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

As our family navigates this heartbreaking loss, we are also facing unexpected funeral and memorial expenses. We are creating this GoFundMe to help honor Pepe’s life with the dignity and respect he deserves and to ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
