Honoring the life of Jake Hoel's legacy

With deep sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Hoel of

Blaine, Minnesota, who left this world far too soon at the age of 25. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was immeasurable.

Born June in 2000, Jake was raised in Blaine and graduated High School in 2018. He went on to earn a degree in Construction Management and worked for the City of Ramsey as an Engineering Technician. From an early age, Jake showed a fearless love for the great outdoors — whether it was tearing down roads on his motorcycles, snowmobiling through trails, four-wheeling through mud, or spending peaceful mornings in the woods hunting or casting a line into the water. Nature was his playground, and adventure was in his blood.

Jake was more than just an outdoorsman — he was a young man with a strong work ethic, a generous spirit, and a heart full of loyalty for the people he loved. In his short time here, he accomplished a lot. He also brought people together, made every gathering brighter, and never missed an opportunity to lend a hand or crack a joke to lift someone’s spirits.

Though he’s gone from our sight, his spirit rides on in every sunrise over the lake, every trail through the trees, and every roar of an engine under an open sky.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Ride in paradise Jake. We’ll see you on the other side.
