Honoring the Life of Israel: A Loving Brother and Son

I am starting this GoFundMe for the Altamirano family. Yesterday, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at around 1 AM, Israel Altamirano-Chamu peacefully passed away in his sleep at nineteen years old due to natural causes. Israel was loved so much by family, friends, and many more. Israel was so loved by his mother, Aurelia, his father, Fausto, and his big brother, Leno. He was a funny brother, a loving son, an amazing nephew, and much more. Israel was a big fan of Mickey Mouse and Curious George. From a young age, Israel had been fighting many illnesses, disorders, and diseases, including being born with fluid in his brain, diabetes, a small heart, respiratory problems, and so much more. Israel was one of the strongest people I knew; he always kept a smile on his face even if he was in the hospital. Although it hurts for him to leave us, we now know he is at peace in Heaven. Israel will no longer have to take medicine every day, he will no longer have trouble breathing, he will no longer have to get shots every day, and he will no longer be in pain.

I am making this GoFundMe in an attempt to raise funds for Israel’s funeral. The Altamirano family are amazing people, and they deserve to put Israel to rest without any stress or worry. I pray that the Altamirano family and anyone who knew, loved, or cared about Israel are able to properly and fully grieve through this process. All proceeds raised in this GoFundMe will go directly to the Altamirano family. Please donate if you’re able to—it will help Israel and his family tremendously. Ayer, jueves 3 de abril de 2025, alrededor de la 1:00 a. m., Israel Altamirano-Chamu falleció pacíficamente mientras dormía a los diecinueve años por causas naturales. Israel era muy querido por su familia, amigos y muchos más. Israel era muy querido por su madre, Aurelia, su padre, Fausto, y su hermano mayor, Leno. Era un hermano divertido, un hijo cariñoso, un sobrino maravilloso y mucho más. Israel era un gran fan de Mickey Mouse y George el Curioso.
