Honoring the life of Hortencia González

At 5:36 on the morning of Sunday, November 13, 2022, my grandmother, Hortencia Benavides de González, was called home to heaven. My grandma passed away peacefully at the age of 89, devoid of all pain, as I held her in my arms while she expelled her final breath. She is reunited with her husband (my grandpa) Reynaldo, her daughter (my tia) Lourdes, and her mother (my great grandma) Carmen.
My grandmother is survived by six of her seven children, 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
On behalf of my family and I, I’m reaching out to ask for help covering my grandmother’s funeral and final expenses. One of my grandmother’s last wishes was that she be laid to rest with my grandpa Rey - her eternal love.
