Dear family and friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear brother, Herbert Brown.

On Sunday, August 31st, just moments after sharing a beautiful and powerful prayer with his church family, Herbert suffered a sudden heart attack. He was surrounded by a community that loved him, and thanks to their quick actions and the tireless efforts of medical professionals, he was given a fighting chance.

To know Herbert was to know a man who was kind, passionate, and profoundly faithful. He wore his heart on his sleeves, living each day with immense love for God, his family, and every person he met. His deep and abiding faith was the cornerstone of his life. Together with his wife Takako, their lifelong dedication was recognized with their induction into the CheonBo Hall of Honor in 2020—a testament to a life lived for a higher purpose.

Herbert fought courageously in the hospital, but due to unforeseen complications, he passed peacefully into the spiritual world on the evening of Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Takako, his children, his siblings, and his cherished grandchildren.

In this time of unexpected loss, we are setting up this fund to help ease the financial burden on Takako and their family. All donations will go directly to them to help cover funeral costs and other immediate expenses, allowing them the space to grieve without financial worry.
