Honoring the Life of Erin Neil Roberts
Helping His Children Build Their Future
On September 21, 2025, our beloved Erin Neil Roberts passed away after a life filled with love, music, service, and devotion to his family. Erin was a husband, father, mentor, and police officer who touched countless lives — from guiding children through his music school Fusion Jam Music to proudly serving with the Friendswood Police Department.
While nothing can fill the loss his family now feels, we can come together to help carry forward what mattered most to him: the future of his children, Ellyse, Andrew, and Kyle. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honor Erin’s legacy by contributing to a college fund for his children.
Your generosity will not only help ease the financial burden but will stand as a testament to the love and community that surrounded Erin throughout his life. Supporting his children’s future is the most meaningful way we can celebrate the life of a man who gave so much of himself to his family, friends, and community.
With heartfelt gratitude, we thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers. By helping Ellyse, Andrew, and Kyle, you are carrying forward Erin’s legacy of love and giving them the future he dreamed of for them.

In Loving Memory of Erin Neil Roberts
Born July 5, 1974 – Passed September 21, 2025
Erin Neil Roberts was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose life was defined by love, service, and music.
Born in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, Erin grew up surrounded by family and faith. After graduating from East Detroit High School, he built a life with his high school sweetheart, Jennifer. Together they shared 34 years of love and 28 years of marriage in Texas, where they raised their family and built a beautiful life.
Erin’s greatest joy was being a father. He poured his heart into raising his three children—Ellyse Nicole, Andrew O’Neil, and Kyle Joseph—never missing a chance to support, guide, and cheer them on. To Erin, being a dad wasn’t just a role, it was his greatest honor.
Music was another lifelong passion. Known in his community as “Big E,” Erin’s voice and guitar could light up any room. Through his music school, Fusion Jam Music, he mentored and taught countless children, helping them discover and nurture their own love of music. He inspired young musicians and brought joy to all who heard him sing and play.
In his 40s, Erin found his calling in community service, becoming a police officer with the Friendswood Police Department. Serving and protecting his hometown of Friendswood was more than a career—it was a mission he carried out with pride until he was no longer able.
Erin is survived by his wife, Jennifer Roberts; his children, Ellyse Nicole Roberts, Andrew O’Neil Roberts, and Kyle Joseph Roberts; his father, Jay “Herbie” Roberts; his mother, Carol Roberts; his brothers, Scott Roberts (Brandy) and Kirby Roberts (Tracy); and a wide circle of family and friends who will cherish his memory.
In his final days, Erin and Jennifer reflected on their blessings and the beautiful life they built together. His legacy will live on in the music he played, the service he gave, and the love he poured into his family and community.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family invites contributions to a GoFundMe college fund for Erin’s children. His children were everything to him, and supporting their future is the best way to honor his life.
