It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Edwin. This GoFundMe has been created to help cover funeral expenses and to support his daughter, Yami, as she prepares to embark on her college journey within the next year. We want to ensure she has a financial cushion to help her accomplish her dreams just as her father always wanted for her.

Edwin was loved by so many. A genuine soul who would help anyone however he could, he left a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path. As a dedicated boxing coach, he inspired countless young athletes to believe in themselves and push to be their best.

He was a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle and above all, Yami was his world. No matter the challenges he faced, he never stopped fighting to give her the best life possible. He showed her and all of us what true strength and perseverance look like.

This loss has deeply affected everyone who knew him. Yami, us siblings, his mother, nieces and nephews are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support we’ve received. Our goal is to give Edwin the proper farewell he deserves, one that reflects how deeply he was loved.
