Hello, we are the Wright family, and it is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Doris Wright. On May 12, 2025, at 9:30 AM, Doris took his rest due to health complications. Though he was 63, he was still full of life, laughter, and love, and his absence has left a deep void in our family and community.

Doris was born on January 5, 1962, and spent his life pouring love and care into those around him. He worked as the head custodian for the Richmond County School System, where he proudly served for many years. He took great pride in his work and genuinely loved the students he saw each day. He wasn’t just a staff member—he was a mentor, a friend, and a familiar face that brought comfort and joy to so many. The school halls will never be the same without him.

Doris was the heart of our family—a man who brought joy, wisdom, and kindness wherever he went. We, the Wright family, are devastated by this loss and want to give him the homegoing celebration he truly deserves.
