Honoring the Life of David Underwood

In Loving Memory of David – An Amazing Husband, Father, Teacher, and Man of Faith

Hi, my name is Amanda Deck, and I’m creating this GoFundMe to honor the life of my uncle, David Underwood (Bubu), who passed away unexpectedly. Our family is heartbroken by this sudden loss and, in the midst of our grief, we are also facing the difficult financial burden of funeral and memorial costs.

David (Bubu) was so much more than an uncle—he was an amazing husband, a devoted father, an inspiring teacher, and a man of deep faith. He lived with purpose, led with love, and served others with humility. David loved God with all his heart and strived every day to live according to His word. He had a passion for music, a gift for teaching, and a heart that lifted everyone around him. He was a "go to" guy for family and friends who never judged and always had a listening ear with a mind full of guidance and wisdom.

This fundraiser is a way to celebrate David’s life and give him the farewell he truly deserves. If you’re able to contribute, any amount would mean the world to our family. We are grateful for your support, your prayers, and for helping us honor such a remarkable man. His generous spirit and deep compassion will continue to live on through the lives he touched, leaving behind a lasting legacy.
