With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Curtis Ray Hert III, lovingly known as “Ray,” who left us far too soon on May 1, 2025, at the age of 28.

Ray was intelligent, curious, and deeply creative—a gentle soul who viewed the world through a unique and thoughtful lens. Quiet and reserved, he carried a calm spirit and lived life authentically, embracing his individuality with quiet strength.

As they navigate this difficult loss, the family are asking for support through this memorial fund to help cover the costs of Ray’s funeral arrangements and celebration of life. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward honoring his memory and giving him the heartfelt goodbye he deserves.

Arrangements have been made for services, the Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 1pm. Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 753 Washington Street, High Point, NC 27260.
