Honoring the Life of Carol Savery (DJ Black's mom)

Carol Savery, (DJ) Black's mom, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while traveling through Houston on Sunday, August 18th. Her passing was a shock as she had spoken with Black and spent time with her brother the night before and appeared in good spirits and excited about her upcoming trip with church members to Albania.
Carol had an incredible curiosity and love of life. She was a committed member of her congregation in Delano, CA, where in her 60's she had studied and learned American Sign Language in order to be able to interpret services and meetings. She loved to learn new things, travel and garden and always had a new project on which she was working. Please consider contributing what you can towards the funeral and burial expenses which family had not foreseen. She was Black's first and greatest fan in her DJ career.
