On Christmas Day, our family experienced an unimaginable loss with the unexpected passing of our beloved Briand T. Williams. We are still in shock and struggling to process this heartbreaking reality during what is normally a time of joy and togetherness. Briand was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his smile and keep everyone laughing with his jokes. Briand had a natural way of making people feel supported, seen, and cared for. His laughter was contagious, and his presence brought comfort to so many.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Briand was deeply connected to his community, especially Freedom West, which helped shape the man he became. He carried that sense of community with him everywhere, always showing love, kindness, and loyalty to those around him.
As our family navigates this sudden loss, we are reaching out for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will help us cover funeral and memorial expenses and allow us the space to grieve and honor Briand’s life properly. If you are unable to give, we ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers and consider sharing this page. Thank you for your love, support, and compassion. It truly means more to our family than words can express. With gratitude, The Williams Family
