As I write these words, reality sets in that Bri's gone. The incredible woman, who had a heart of gold, and a contagious smile is gone. She was a dear friend, sister, and daughter whose life was ended too soon. There are no words to explain how we all feel right now.

Through the years Bri faced many highs and lows, and in the end, her battle was larger than anyone could have ever known. The questions and regrets we all have about what finally pushed her over the edge and if we could have helped her more, will always weigh heavy on our hearts.

The absolute shock and disbelief that her parents and sisters felt when they received the call will never let them feel peace. Gil and Bonnie are having to put another child to eternal rest. Bianca and Danielle, are battling the agonizing reality that their sister will never return home. No family should ever have to endure this pain and loss for the second time.

Through this fundraiser, we hope to support the funeral costs for Bri and help her family in this time of need. Anything raised in addition to the funeral costs will allow her family to take the time necessary to grieve without being forced to return to work too soon.

In 2017 Bri posted this quote by Emery Allen on social media:

“Not everything is supposed to become something beautiful and long-lasting. Sometimes people come into your life to show you what is right and what is wrong, to show you who you can be, to teach you to love yourself, to make you feel better for a little while, or to just be someone to walk with at night and spill your life to. Not everyone is going to stay forever, and we still have to keep on going and thank them for what they’ve given us.”
