Our family is heartbroken to share that our grandfather, Bill Bagby, or as we lovingly called him, Papabill, recently passed after a long and difficult battle with dementia. We want to honor him and uphold his wishes for a simple cremation and small memorial, but the unexpected costs have become more than we can manage on our own.

Bill was loved by everyone who knew him and will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and optimism. He lived a full and passionate life, racing cars with SCCA, participating in the annual MS-150 fundraiser, and expanding his knowledge of firearms and anthropology. Above all, he dedicated his life to raising his three adopted granddaughters alongside his wife, Flora Bagby, pouring his heart into the family he cherished.

Papabill was such an important part of our lives, and we will continue to carry his memory with us always.
