With heavy hearts, our family is preparing to say goodbye to our beloved grandmother, Barbara Jean Clemons, who is now in hospice care. As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help us honor her legacy and lay her to rest with the dignity and love she deserves.

Barbara, affectionately known as “Barb,” was born in Shaw, Louisiana, one of 14 siblings in a close-knit, faith-filled family. She later moved to Las Vegas in pursuit of greater opportunity and a better life for her children — a true reflection of her selfless, determined spirit.

Barb had a smile that could light up the darkest room — warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. But don’t get it twisted — she also had a straight face that could stop you in your tracks, often followed by wisdom, honesty, or a good laugh. She was the heart of our family, the glue that held generations together, and the embodiment of strength, grace, and unconditional love.
