Honoring the Life of Baby KENTRE BAKER & Supporting Our Family ❤️‍.

On Feb. 3 , 2026 , our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. My beloved son, KENTRE BAKER , just 3 years old, lost his life during a police hostage situation. NO PARENT is ever prepared for this kind of loss, and OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN BEYOND WORDS!!

KENTRE was pure sunshine in human form. He had a playful, curious spirit and was fearless with a smile that could melt any heart. He loved everything marine life, could spend hours naming every sea creature by scientific or common name! He always carried a sea creature with him everywhere he went and had the cutest habit of naming every ocean animal that would enjoy bath time with him and placing them on the edge of the bathtub before actually getting in kind of like a roll call . His laughter filled every home he stepped foot in, and his hugs were the kind you never wanted to let go of. He was rough but gentle, loving, smart, athletic and always quick to share if he had something on his mind .

Even in just 3 years, he taught us more about enjoying the small things in life and what real unconditional love that could last more than a lifetime ever could. HE WAS TRULY AND STILL IS ONE OF A KIND ‼️. Forever my angel in life and after holding my face up saying “It’s okay mommy ❤️‍”

During this painful time, I am focusing on honoring Kentre’s life!! Any support, whether through donations or sharing this page means more than we can express. I am creating this fundraiser to help cover:

• Funeral and memorial expenses

• Time away from work as our family grieves

• Counseling and emotional support services

• Unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss.
