In Loving Memory of Baby Luca Dahlberg

On September 25, 2025, Connor and Nathalia said goodbye to their beloved son, Luca, who was just one year old.

Born on September 22, 2024, Luca came into this world with a strength and light that touched everyone who knew him. Though his time on earth was short, his impact will last forever.

Luca’s journey was one of incredible courage. After a long road to diagnosis, he was found to have OTC (ornithine transcarbamylase deficiency) — a rare condition that brought many challenges. Despite this, Luca fought bravely through countless treatments, procedures, and surgeries. He endured a liver transplant and many complications afterward, yet he never stopped fighting, and his parents never stopped fighting for him.

Through it all, Connor and Nathalia Dahlberg—devoted parents, faithful believers, and loving souls—stood steadfast by his side. Nathalia selflessly cared for Luca every moment of the past year, dedicating her days and nights to his comfort and healing. Connor worked tirelessly to support his family while being there for every step of Luca’s journey. Their strength and love have been nothing short of inspiring.

Now, as they navigate the unimaginable pain of loss, Connor and Nathalia’s greatest desire is to bring Luca home to Michigan, to rest among family and loved ones. They are currently in Orlando, Florida, and hope to return to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they can begin the difficult process of healing surrounded by the people who love them most.

This fundraiser is being organized on behalf of our family to help with:

• Funeral and memorial costs

• Transportation expenses to bring Luca home

• Out-of-pocket hospital and medical expenses
