Hi everyone,

My name is Myat, and I’m writing with a heavy heart to share that my beloved mother, Aye Aye Than, passed away on December 20, 2025.

My mom was the kind of person who made everyone feel cared for. She was kind, funny, strong, and incredibly warm. She loved cooking for others, making sure everyone was fed, comfortable, and never felt alone. Her love showed up in quiet, selfless ways, and she gave so much of herself to the people around her.

She also deeply loved her work and took great pride in it. Even during difficult times, she was eager to get back to work and be amongst her colleagues. Working at Giant Food meant so much to her, she truly enjoyed being there, connecting with her coworkers, and serving others in her community.

Our family is now facing the emotional and financial challenges that come with laying her to rest and honoring her life. We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as any related costs during this incredibly difficult time.
