Honoring the Life & Memory of Karen McCarthy

Sadly on 03/08/2023, Karen passed away suddenly. Karen was an amazing free spirit and an incredibly affectionate and generous woman. She was devoted to her family and loved plants, animals, music, and history, and had an educated eye for the fine arts. She is survived by her son Daniel and daughters Shoshana and Kayla, and sister Eileen. She has three beautiful grandchildren (all boys) Luca, Ian, and Gavin. Her extended family consists of a very close-knit family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends, too many to mention. Anyone who knew Karen would agree that her thoughtful visits, gifts, phone calls, trinkets, letters, and cards were appreciated and cherished by all. She maintained a life-long meaningful friendship and relationship with her ex-husband John. Her beloved dog Yogi was with her to the end, and will miss her greatly.

Memorial, Donations, & Final Expenses.

Our beloved Karen did not have much but made the best of what was hers.

We are reaching out on behalf of her children to ask anyone who appreciated Karen's carefree, comical, and wild outlook on life and people to please give what they can to contribute to her final expenses. No amount is too small, all will go to her children for all expenses involving burial & memorial services.

MEMORIAL SERVICE:

A memorial is planned at The Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church www.stroudsburgwesleyan.org located at 915 N. 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

On Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at 11:00 am, we will have a service followed by food in Fellowship Hall until - 2:00 pm. Flowers can be sent directly to the church.
