On Monday, August 11, 2025, our beloved Ma Yey, Nan Nop, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father. Surrounded by her devoted husband, children, and grandchildren, she took her final breath at the age of 76, after courageously enduring a long battle with multiple illnesses.

Nan Nop — a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother — leaves behind an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Yet the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the beautiful memories she created will live on in each of us.
If you were ever blessed to know Nan, you felt her warmth. Her kindness radiated effortlessly. She smiled with grace, loved with her whole heart, and welcomed everyone with compassion. She was full of joy, deeply family-oriented, and loved sharing meals and laughter with her loved ones. Even though she couldn’t give much, she gave everything. Her soul was pure, genuine, and sweet.

For over 50 years, she shared a devoted life with her husband, Savoeung, raising five wonderful children — Phoeung, Saphat (Pear), Laura (Saphorn), Alicia, and Lisa — and lovingly nurturing 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the heart of our family and taught us the values of kindness, faith, and unconditional love. Her grandchildren received the most love and attention.

Nan was also a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where her love for her Heavenly Father shaped every part of her life. Through faith, she guided her family to follow Jesus Christ, and her unwavering spiritual devotion continues to inspire us.

How You Can Help

If you feel moved to contribute financially, your donation will go toward funeral expenses and help us honor her memory with the love and dignity she so richly deserves. Every gesture large or small is deeply a blessing to our entire family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. Your love and support mean more than words can express.

With gratitude,
The Family of Nan Nop (Ma Yey)
