Honoring the Life and Memory of Robert “Bob” Kroh

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert "Bob" Kroh, who peacefully left us in his sleep on February 11, 2025. Bob was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a cherished friend. Born in 1957 in Nice, France, Bob’s life was one filled with love, dedication, and an unwavering passion for the things that brought him joy—his family, his friends, his dog, and, of course, his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.

Bob had a weak heart, but that never stopped him from embracing life’s greatest moments. Just one day before his passing, he was overjoyed watching his Eagles claim victory in Super Bowl LIX on February 9, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 40-22. He cheered them on with his usual passion and enthusiasm, grilling up his game-day favorites as he often did, always ready to share his cooking with his neighbors. The excitement of the game may have been more than his heart could handle, but we take comfort in knowing he left this world with joy in his heart.

Bob was incredibly proud of his career and the work he did with the Laborers’ Local Union 57 in Philadelphia. His dedication to his trade provided for his family and left a lasting impact on those he worked alongside. Nearly 15 years ago, Bob and his wife, Mary Theresa (MT), moved from Southeast Pennsylvania to Lewes, Delaware, where they built a life filled with love, community, and the beauty of the ocean.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Theresa; his children, Jason (Laura), Josh (Shelby), Matthew, Ryan, and Mariah (Andy); and six grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.

As his family navigates this difficult time, we ask that instead of flowers, donations be made to assist with the financial burden of funeral expenses. Bob’s final wish was to be cremated and have his ashes spread in the ocean, and we want to honor him in the way he envisioned. All donations will be provided directly to his wife, Mary Theresa (MT) Kroh, to help cover these costs.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and allow us to give Bob the farewell he deserves. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and support during this heartbreaking time.

With love and appreciation,
the Kroh Family

****Bob's Celebration of Life will be held Sussex East Clubhouse (14 Manor House Lane Lewes, DE 19958) on the 22nd of March 2025 from 12pm-2pm with scattering ashes at sea following.
