Hi, my name is Anna Kern and I am fundraising for Leigha and her mom, Danielle Moen. Leigha passed away unexpectedly on June 9th, 2023. Since the day Leigha was born, she was a fighter. She spent 5.5 months in the NICU when she was born followed by a multitude of other health issues including having a feeding tube and Apraxia. At the age of 2 years old she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma and beat it over the course of 1.5 years! The following year she contracted severe Pneumonia which resulted in her left lung collapsing. She ended up having approximately a quarter of it removed and made a full recovery. Leigha was incredibly strong and resiliant, truly an inspiration to all. On June 9th, 2023 Leigha went in for routine CT/MRI scans to confirm she was still cancer free. She unexpectedly passed during this process, her body was tired from fighting her whole life.

We are all devestated at the loss of Leigha. We want her family to be able to give her the memorial she deserves and to honor her memory. The funds will be used for Leigha's funeral and also to help Danielle navigate through this unimaginable and heartbreaking hurdle in her life.
