Hi, my name is Danielle. I have been blessed to be my grandmother’s caregiver for the past four years. She was the heart of our family — a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma who touched the lives of everyone around her.

Recently, she was hospitalized and passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 29th. Our hearts are broken. We all miss her deeply and are struggling to understand why our best friend and biggest supporter has gone.

Grandma Pam spent her life giving to others—raising neighborhood kids, helping anyone in need, and never asking for anything in return. Now, I find myself in the difficult position of asking for help. Since her passing, I’ve lost my caregiving income and as a family are working together to cover her remaining expenses and I myself get back on my feet for my kids.

Although Grandma Pam had life insurance, it isn’t enough to cover everything. Any help —no matter how small — means the world to us as we honor her memory and navigate this painful time.
