Hello, my name is Christopher Delgado, the son of Maria Del Carmen Guerra. I created this GoFundMe to support my younger siblings, especially Jan Carlos and Yatziri, who are only 13 and 10 and facing the unimaginable loss of their mother. Some of these funds will also be set aside for Yatziri’s quinceañera in five years, as our mom always dreamed of giving her first baby girl the biggest and most beautiful celebration. The money for them will be saved in a separate account by us older siblings.

We also want to give back to the people who are helping us during this difficult time. The caterers are generously providing all the food after the funeral mass on the 30th free of charge, and the flowers for the funeral are also being given to us out of kindness. My mom, Maria, was the type of person who always gave back, and we want to honor her spirit by showing our gratitude with a meaningful tip for their generosity.

We decided to keep the donation goal low because we don’t want to put a price on what this means to us. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is a blessing, and we are deeply grateful for every act of kindness.
